These instructions are to do two things:
1. Assign a display name to a phone
2. Allow a phone to *receive* the display name
note: just because a phone calling has a name assigned to it, if the receiving phone is provisioned as CNDD (caller name disply denied) then the phone receiving party won't see anything.
1. Assigning a name to a phone:
--------------------------------------------
go to LD 95
REQ: New (or "CHG" if the phone has a name and you want to change it)
type: Name
CUST: 0
dig: (return)
DN: (DN number)
- then just return until you retrun to "DN" at which point you can enter another DN or just **** out
2. Allowing a phone to receive the Display name
--------------------------------------------------
LD 11 (or 20)
REQ: CHG
TYPE: 2050PC
TN: (tn of the set you're provisioning)
ECHG: yes
ITEM: CLS CNDA (class = Caller Name Display Allowed)
(hit return until done)
